The LMR Solutions’ Envisioning services address one of the most fundamental requirements for project success—unification of the project team behind a common vision. The team must have a clear vision of what it wants to accomplish. Envisioning, by creating a high-level view of the project’s goals and constraints, will serve as an early form of planning; it sets the stage for the more formal planning process that will take place during the project’s planning phase. Our goal in the Envisioning workshop is to assist your organization with clarifying and documenting its business vision for the resulting system, along with defining the high-level business goals and objectives.
The purpose of defining the business requirements is to clarify the business vision for the resulting system and define the high-level business goals and objectives to ensure that the resulting SMART EPM solution meets all of the business requirements. To accomplish this workshop, LMR Solutions will assign an experienced Project Management Consultant to meet with appropriate staff members, in groups and individual sessions, to capture and document your organization’s vision, goals and objectives for this enterprise project management solution. The output of this task is a Business Requirements document that defines: (1) your organization’s vision for this enterprise project management solution; and (2) the project’s purpose, scope, and roadmap for the remainder of the project.
