LMR Solutions’ Planning services include both business process development and system design which correlate your business processes with EPM procedures and EPM configuration. LMR Solution’s design service gives your team a systematic way to work from abstract concepts down to specific technical detail. This begins with a systematic analysis of user profiles which describe various types of users and their job functions (operations staff are users too). These are broken into a series of usage scenarios, where a particular type of user is attempting to complete a type of activity, such as scheduling and building project plans. Each usage scenario is broken into a specific sequence of tasks, known as use cases, which the user performs to complete that activity. The results of this critical exercise are the System Design and System Policies and Procedures.

System Requirements Gathering and Procedural Design

To accomplish this service, LMR Solutions assigns a certified PMP Project Management Consultant to meet with appropriate client staff members, in groups and individual sessions, to ascertain the information needed for completing the system design. This approach will result in a precise initial configuration of the Microsoft EPM solution.

• Solution Procedure design tasks:
  The High-Level ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ Project Management Process Workshops will involve a discussion and documentation of the current and desired processes for project initiation planning, scheduling, costing, tracking, and reporting within the Enterprise Project Management environment.
  
  
  
• Solution System design tasks:
  LMR Solutions conducts system design workshops where features will be demonstrated and design choices selected.  These workshops will be conducted covering project planning, tracking, collaboration and reporting as it relates to Microsoft Project Server and will also include discussions on profiles\users and use cases.
